Cow Service (Gau Seva)
A large Gaushala (cow shelter) has been constructed to facilitate cow service (Gau Seva). It houses approximately 40 milking cows and one bull at all times. A fodder storage facility has been built, and open fields are available for grazing.
To produce compost from cow dung, a composting machine with a capacity of about 100 kilograms of compost per day has been installed. Additionally, a smaller machine is available for shredding dry leaves, which are then mixed with the compost.
The pure milk obtained from the cows is distributed among the elderly residents of the old age home, the spiritual practitioners (sadhaks), and other ashram residents.
